Jay’s life is pretty much guitars and ukuleles. He is a luthier so that just makes sense. When Jay told me about a visit he recently had with Marc Yaxley and he described him as one of the most talented guitarists he has ever heard, he had my attention. Well, one thing led to another and in the blink of an eye we had scheduled a house concert here at Lichty Guitars with Marc for the evening of March 26th. We are beyond excited and honored to have him here to visit!
I’ll jump in and share that we filled the house in that same blink of an eye so while we do not have seats open for this show, if you’d like to be a part of a future house concert with Marc drop us a line and we’ll see if we can talk him into another event soon. Too, he is available for concerts large or small, for special events and for guitar lessons. You can reach Marc at 828-862-7773.
Marc Yaxley
Marc began playing guitar at age 11. He has been playing guitar and pleasing crowds ever since. By age 15 he was hired to play with Roy Counts of the Texas Wanderers. He has performed classical and jazz guitar concerts for World Renaissance Cruise Ships, has studied with some of New York Cities guitar greats, has recorded tracks for a Universal Studios’ film, has performed regularly in popular venues on the Las Vegas Strip, and so so much more. What a gift to have him here in Tryon for a spell!
