Customize Your Own Guitar or Ukulele

Randall Bramblett and his custom Lichty Guitar

Jay specializes in crafting custom acoustic guitars and ukuleles and that process begins with you and he designing your dream guitar or uke together. You’ll have an opportunity to select the specific set of tonewood from over 25 species of woods that Jay builds with, to pair the perfect soundboard with that, to choose inlay materials, bindings and to select from many custom features like side sound ports, beveled armrests and more. You become an integral part of your instrument by contributing to the design process.

The end result is your heirloom quality instrument that has the tone, the look and the feel that resonates with you perfectly in every possible way. Really, for a musician is there anything better?

What can I say but that my custom Lichty ukulele is amazing!  It has the most wonderful intonation imaginable!  The Koa is absolutely beautiful!  Of course, your craftsmanship is again superior!  As always, it was a joy to work with you. – Loretta Lewandowski, Lichty granadillo ukulele and koa parlor guitar owner
