Ukulele Magazine Review of a Lichty Ukulele
When String Letter Publishing, publisher of Acoustic Guitar Magazine and more, launched Ukulele Magazine they made lots of uke-lovers happy. To have such a highly-regarded publisher give ukulele its place in the spotlight is tremendous for the ever-growing world-wide community of fans. Since its inception, Ukulele Magazine has featured a robust line-up of musician spotlights, player tips, coverage of global festivals and happenings and, of course, great gear reviews.
We are excited to announce that the Spring 2016 features a home-run review of a Lichty cocobolo and sinker redwood ukulele that happens to be one of Jay’s classic designs, the long neck tenor with a cutaway and side sound port. This instrument was crafted for ukulele great Kimo Hussey but managed to make its first stop along the way the offices of Ukulele Magazine for their thoughtful review.
