Guitars, Gifts and Gratitude – Tryon Daily Bulletin Feature on Lichty Guitars
Lichty Guitars’ Giving Back Program began when those first few instruments got strings. We felt so blessed from the beginning and so supported by friends, family and by our community that giving back was never a question. Over the past four years we’ve tried to do our giving in creative, collaborative ways. From the annual instrument raffle to benefit LEAF Community Arts, to participating in Big Brothers Big Sisters fund drives to helping spread the word about worthy causes – our giving back program is an integral part of how we do business.
We felt truly honored to be featured in Progress, a special issue of Tryon Daily Bulletin published in February of this year. This special edition publication highlights an amazing collective of folks and businesses in Polk County, NC striving to making a difference. We had a great visit with journalist Kiesa Kay who came to interview us for the piece in the Bulletin. Kiesa has contributed a collection of wonderful profiles and features to community publications. The article Guitars, Gifts and Gratitude is a great example of one of the many ways Kiesa has contributed to our community through her writing.
Tryon Daily Bulletin’s claim to fame is being the world’s smallest daily newspaper and it is indeed a gem!
