New Guitar Design – Introducing The Alchemist
If there was ever a guitar that could weave your notes, chords and intonations into pure gold the Alchemist just might be it.
Jay headed out to the shop this summer with the thread of a new guitar design in mind. Days later he emerged from clouds of sawdust with the first Alchemist in hand.
Distinctive body lines with a OM style size, a wedge-shaped body (inspired by the innovations of Linda Manzer) a side sound port, extended fretboard, bound fretboard and headstock and Gotoh 510 tuners distinguish the Alchemist.
All of the options available on other guitars are available on the Alchemist. A partial list of options include: selecting from our entire collection of domestic and exotic woods, slotted headstock, custom inlay and electronic pick-up. Prices start at $4,650
This first Alchemist was purchased while still in the construction phase.
Features: Curly Honduran Mahogany back and sides, Engelmann Spruce top, Snakewood rosette, headplate, fretboard, bridge and end graph, Koa binding, Mother-of-Pearl inlay, LR Baggs Athem SL Pickup, Gotoh 510 tuners
