6:00 to 7:00 Jay and Corrie will be on hand with a variety of Jay’s Handcrafted instruments. You are invited to come by to play any and all or simply to talk with Jay and to learn more about how they are built.

We had the enormous pleasure of hosting a concert and celebration at the Saluda Wine Cellar on Oct 29th. After a year of hard work (Lichty Guitars first year in business) it felt like it was time to throw a party. Three talented guitarists/musicians came together to play a variety of handcrafted Lichty guitars and ukuleles and to share a fun evening with the full-house crowd. Doug Dacey, Dale Rucker and of course, Jay Lichty played original and traditional tunes, in turn, during this intimate evening with friends...

While the enchanting custom-order Patchwork Guitar is curing and the custom-order Koa OM is getting its final stages of finish, Jay has embarked on his latest project (given he is never one to let the dust settle in the shop). He is working on two ukuleles - a Brazilian Rosewood tenor with a Curly Redwood top
and a Brazilian Rosewood and Western Red Cedar Baritone Ukulele.
These sets are beyond incredible and the combination of woods for each instrument that Jay has chosen is spot-on....
