A Lichty Guitars’ Milestone – Guitar 100!
Jay has handcrafted over 200 instruments since the beginning of Lichty Guitars in 2009. That number reflects roughly half and half guitars and ukes. That said, we still think it is a pretty cool thing that he is working on Lichty Guitar #100. To mark the milestone Jay is crafting a special parlor guitar that will be bound for Nashville. Robin at Guitar Gallery asked Jay to build a parlor guitar out of Madagascar Rosewood and he was only to pleased to oblige. It will be for sale through Robin’s store in the late fall.
Features: Parlor guitar body with a cutaway, Madagascar Rosewood, Carpathian Spruce top, Mahogany neck, Koa binding with Mother of Pearl purfling, Mother of Pearl rosette, custom inlay
