Guitar Building Workshop, Jan 2015, final days
A labor of love and what a beauty!
Mark has completed the building of his guitar with Jay by his side during his one-on-one guitar building workshop. In just ten days the building is complete and now the finishing process has begun. Jay will ensure the finish is both durable and flawless (a 2-3 week process) and then (if we can let it go) Mark’s guitar will be on its way home. It is indeed a fantastic guitar.

Corrie’s confession – I will jump in here and admit that the last day of a guitar building workshop is my least favorite. Yes, it is super exciting to see it all come together but it really is hard to say goodbye. Over the course of ten days Mark (just like all our workshop students) has become family.
_______________
Mark’s guitar features a stunning Brazilian Rosewood dreadnought body style with a Carpathian spruce top, mahogany neck, ebony fretboard and bridge, camel bone nut and saddle and Gotoh 510 tuners. You can see this guitar come to life from the beginning by clicking here.
