Ziricote Baby Bard Comes to Life
One of our favorite customers is behind another really fun project! It’s great when a custom instrument reflects so much collaboration between player and luthier.

This model features our classic Bard body design scaled down to a bit larger than a baritone ukulele. Jay, with lots of input and research from the customer, has come up with the perfect formula for an instrument of ultimate fun and playability while maintaing a tone that could not be achieved by simply connecting a six string neck to a baritone ukulele body. So much fun, in fact, that the prototype, which Jay built the first of this year, has been Jay’s go to instrument of choice.
Features: Ziricote back and sides blend with a Carpathian spruce top, mahogany neck, sound port, ebony radiused bound fretboard, ebony bridge, koa binding, camel bone nut and saddle, ziricote rosette and inlay
