Guitar Building Workshop – Day One
The first day is always a thrill. So much happens so fast and there is a rhythm unique to each workshop that begins to unfold as Jay and the student begin working together. In a one-on-one guitar building workshop students select all the options from body style to what type of wood and what specific set, to inlay designs, etc. Because of this the typical way a workshop starts is for the student to spend some time playing a few Lichty Guitars to get a feel for the sound, look and feel they are after. This helps them to nail down the body style, the bracing design, the wood selection and such. Then, it’s off to the shop and time to kick up some dust!
Tony knows his guitars and knows how to play them so we’re looking forward to seeing his guitar come to life.
