Milo is a Hawaiian wood that grows in coastal regions. It has been used in a wide range of items from ceremonial pieces, to functional bowls, to furniture and it is prized for instrument making because of its ease of workability, it beautiful color and rich tone. Milo is extremely hard to come by and Jay is excited to have an opportunity to turn the few sets we have into very special ukuleles.
