Guitar Building Workshop June 2013 Final Day
I don’t think Dave, Karina or Terry could have quite imagined the thrill of actually putting strings on and playing their expertly crafted guitars (crafted by their own hands) when they began this journey less than two weeks ago. There were tears of joy round the room when the first tunes were played today. A visit by reporter Emily Pace of WSPA TV made the day even more fun.
Each guitar really is spectacular and each student has a treasure-trove of joyful memories to reflect upon every time they play their guitar for years to come.
We loved getting to know these wonderful folks and Jay was extremely happy with each guitar they built.
“This experience was one of the most rewarding I’ve been through. The quality of the entire experience, from the actual building to the interaction with new friends, was beyond my expectations. A bargain at twice the price!” – Dave Sprague
“If you’ve ever thought of taking this workshop, do it! Jay will make sure you work to your level of experience and you will have an heirloom quality guitar to last a lifetime!” – Terry Schager
