Giving Back in a Magic Way
Gifts come in many different shapes and sizes and, we have to admit, this one really surprised us!
Jay has recently been commissioned to build a beautiful custom Brazilian rosewood tenor ukulele for our new friend, Paul Newman Ruben, who happens to be a professional magician from California. Together they have designed Paul’s dream ukulele and it is the current project Jay is working on. Because Paul is so genuinely thrilled he and his wife Denise decided to donate, on our behalf, his amazing collection of magic books (brand new and vintage), videos, and magic kits for distribution to schools and libraries in our area. When three huge boxes arrived today we were floored. Valued at over $3000 the shipment will go such a long way and touch so many magic-loving folks (young and old) in our community.
So far we have boxed up collections for three area libraries, two schools and then some. Thank you Paul and Denise for your generous and thoughtful gift!
“May this bring joy and magic to many lives.” – Paul Newman Ruben
