In the shop (and out of the shop) Feb 5th …
Most folks imagine every waking hour for a luthier is in his shop, and while that is pretty accurate, there is always the “taking care of business” and “taking care of fun” that are just as important. Here is a snap shot of this past week just to give you an idea:
Jay is working on a collaboration with artist Clark Hipolito (who painted Mike Gossin’s guitar) and has two of four instruments prepped for Clark – a tenor ukulele and a curly Indian rosewood OM.
Two media encounters this week …
Guitar Building one-on-one workshop began Thursday and both Jay and the student are having a blast. The project is a dreadnought guitar built from Ambrosia Maple.
