After building two recent instruments out of Koa (a parlor guitar and a tenor ukulele) and everyone being wowed by the sound, Jay was excited to get an order for a Koa OM guitar. It is the project currently on his bench. It has a Spruce top, Koa rosette and figured Maple binding.
A Cocobolo Dreadnought just got its first set of strings and Jay is having a hard time staying in the shop. It just sounds so incredible that all he wants to do it play it. This is one of the great perks that comes with being a luthier and a musician! Images coming soon. This guitar is available for purchase.
The Patchwork Guitar (read more about it and see all the images) is hanging out in its two week curing stage.
We are preparing for a very cool custom guitar project that involves a brilliant and top-selling musician, an unbelievably talented graphic artist and Lichty Guitars. More details coming soon.
